TV issue in .80
« on: July 21, 2019, 03:19:44 pm »

Greatday Yaobing,

Since .80 I'm noticing TV recordings (.TS) keeps on displaying 'saving tag changes', no thumbnail gets attached and no post-processing isn't done (Comskip in my case).

I did checked the folder via explorer, recording is finalized but then it seems stuck within MC.
Even the files are playable and complete. But no further processing.

Any idea or hint what to check from my side ?

Thanks for your help,

Did you check "TV Logs" to find clues?  Can you capture a log file?

After gathering the log... Reboot your PC, maybe it will clear out the issues. My Server has been recording well (.ts) with version .80 and comskip's been processing them all too.

Great day Yaobing, Tzr916,

Thanks for your help,

At the and it seems to be another EPG issue. Nothing related to MC.

I'm using this program WebGrab+ in order to grab the EPG from my provider's webpage.
Looking in the MC's log i noticed nothing wrong, as it was reported as successfully even it didn't received any input from the XML file.

When digging some deeper, looking at why the thumbnails aren't added, i noticed the links are blank.
So back to the EPG grabber and bingo, no data coming in.

I'll defiantly need to make some update on the EPG Grabbing config this night.

Thanks again for the pointers :-)
