Hello! I'm trying to share some videos with a friend who has an iPhone, but they can't get them to play. I'm guessing it's a file format issue and have tried converting several times with no luck. They are trying to access and play them using Panel on their iPhone 7. They can see all the files and can play my music files, but when they click on a video it opens a player but then just sits there with a blank screen. I usually save all my videos to MKV, but have tried converting a test file using Handbrake to Mp4 multiple times with no luck.
Pasted a copy of the MediaInfo on the latest conversion below hoping someone can maybe see what is keeping it from playing. Otherwise, is their a better option? If they install say VLC player on their iphone, would it be possible for it to access MC library and play the existing MKV files without having to convert? If so, how would I set that up in VLC?
FYI: In MC settings I have the following set:
Tools/Options/Media Network/Client Options= All three boxes checked, Audio Conversion=Convert if necessary & Encoder=MP3 High Bandwidth, Video Conversion=Original
