I Seem to remember the subject of how to remove album covers that were embedded in tags came up once before. Just came across this and wondered if it may be of interest to anyone

Just what I was looking for yesterday.

Have already tried it but it only works on MP3 files (I'm using WMA).

Does anyone know of something similar that works on ALL common music files?

That would be really neat.

Think this is a feature that should be built into MC as I have had a total nightmare of a time with Album Art with WMA files in MC9.

Seems that JRiver in there infinite wisdom removed the ability to imbed album art for WMA files in MC9.  Problem is I have a LOT of WMA files that were ripped with MJ8 (that did allow imbedding cover art into WMA files).  So now most of the MJ8 ripped files can no longer find the cover art in MC9... bummer!

Ever time I re-add the cover art to WMA files in MC9 everything is ok until I have to re-import all my music at which time the MJ8 ripped WMA files loose the covert art again.

There seems to be no fix for this problem other then to remove the imbedded cover art form the MJ8 ripped WMA files then re-add cover art back in MC9.

Boy I REALLY wish this would be resolved once & for all as it is really killing me!
