Getting error after uninstall
« on: April 28, 2003, 02:34:54 pm »

After uninstalling MC9 I get a Media server could not start error on reboot of the PC. Media server is no longer installed so how do I get rid of the error?
I could get the exact text if you need it I just don't feel like rebooting.

Here is the exact error.

The window that pops up is labeled:

Media Server

The text says:

Failed to initialize Registration control

Could someone please help find a solution. >:(

Remove "Media Server" from your "Startup" group in the Start menu.

Keep in mind that uninstalling MC is 7 years bad luck ;D

It is not in the startup folder. It must be in the registry somewhere. Maybe I should try to install it again and then uninstall it.
