Endpoints?
« on: February 21, 2020, 04:42:29 pm »

I hope I'm not posting a duplicate thread about something having been asked before, and in the wrong section to boot.

Anyways I was wondering if there is a way to stream from one computer, via jremote2 and to another computer, sort of like spotify connect. From the app I can only choose "This device" and "player", choosing latter plays audio through my server computer, but I wish it was possible to have a way to stream the music from my server pc to my daily computer where my dac setup is via jremote2 somehow.

If you run jriver on the daily computer, just turn on media network.  It should show up as a playable location on the server.  Once the second PC shows up on the server as a playable location, you can play to it from the server via JRemote too.

Endpoint is more or less the equivalent of Renderer in the standards UPnP and DLNA.

This would be a good place to start:

Thank you for the help, this didn't work last time I tried it, but now it works flawlessly!
