Relational Fields
« on: April 13, 2020, 08:24:55 am »

Hi,

In MC 26.0.49 (4/3/2020), this feature was added :

1. NEW: Added the relational type of one per genre to library fields.

This is awesome and opens a lot of possibilities for my library !

Maybe this is by design, but it seems that relational fields can't deal with multiple values.

Here's an example for the relational field [Parent Genre] that I've just created :

Track 1:
[Genre] = Industrial Metal
[Parent Genre] = Industrial Music; Metal

Track 2:
[Genre] = Drum and Bass
[Parent Genre] = Electronic; Dance

Now, if I import Track 3 with :
[Genre] = Industrial Metal; Drum and Bass

Then, the result is :
[Parent Genre] = Electronic; Dance

Is this the expected behavior for a relational field ?

For Track 3, I would've expected :

[Parent Genre] = Industrial Music; Metal; Electronic; Dance

Thanks in advance !
