Using JRiver with piCorePlayer
« on: January 27, 2021, 01:04:23 pm »

I've been using JRiver for a while, and more recently set up an RPi-4B piCorePlayer/Logitech Media Server/Squeeze Lite rig.

In MC 27, I see PCP show up as a player option. Interesting. Selecting PCP as a player, and trying to play a music file from inside J River MC 27, I just get noise (with a hint of music).

I would like to understand better how these two - J River and PCP - might (or might not) work together. Can I access J River via PCP? Can I use PCP via J River?

As an aside, I have a pair of KEF LSX speakers. They show up in J River and I can send music to them. Works great.

Thanks.
