When changing the rules you can do so by right clicking on the View Scheme or on the playlist, you can also change the rule by clicking on the wizard icon at the top of the list. Right clicking does the same thing for playlists and view schemes, changes the rule for that list. Clicking on the wizard at the top of the playlist does the same thing, changes the rule for that list. However clicking the wizard at the top of a view scheme changes the default media library rule, apparently this is by design but it seems counter intuitive to me.
