Compilation Tag
« on: February 12, 2021, 04:11:41 am »

Hi MC-User,

i have a problem with jriver.
I use the Compilation Tag with mp3Tag for sort my MultiArtist CD's in an extra folder.

When I look in jriver the Compilation tag is empty.
In Mp3Tag is the value 1.
I dbpoweramp is the value yes.

Why does JRiver not read the tag correctly.

I also use the Compilation Tag and have always found it to work correctly.

When you added that tag into MC did you set it's Type to Integer, in addition did you Add that tag before or after you Imported those tracks?

If the Tag is correctly defined in MC then selecting all the tracks where the Compilation Tag/Field is empty in the MC Database and use the Tools > Library Tools > Update Library (from tags) command will copy the Compilation Tag values, from the files, into the MC Database.

The compilation tag has already been integrated into jriver. Didn't add it.

I wrote the compilation tag about jriver. Now I have 2 compilation tags in my file.
The Tag add before i imported in MC.

JRiver don't read the compilation-tag with Update Library (from tags).
