When I try installing Media Jukebox under Win98-SE I get the following message:

Error installing MediaJukebox license:
Invalid license, error code=14

I have a registration code of
I have read ALL the suggestions for fixing registration problems. NONE of them work. I always get the message about error code 14. HELP. My product is not working and I need my money refunded.

Also, I was overcharged. I ordered Media Jukebox for 24.98. I have a printout from the Web page that says $24.98. Yet I am charged on my credit card for $34.98. When I telephoned, your operator told me that was the charge for Media Center, and that Media Center was the same as Media Jukebox. Well, it wasn't the same when I bought it, and you can hardly add $10 to the amount I authorized. The operator told me the only way I could get my money back was to post this message, as well as dispute the charge with my credit card company. So I am doing both. I purchased Media Jukebox because I read it was the BEST at MP3 conversions. Obviously, given the way I have been treated, I would NEVER recommend this product to anybody else. Me again. Actually because of the bank computers being down (of course!) I haven't requested the cancellation of the charge yet. And I won't if you can help me get this working!

I have an idea. I wonder if some confusion between media center and media jukebox is the problem. When I ordered this product, I ordered media jukebox, but when I received your email, I now see it says media center, and DOES mention the price of $34.98. I did NOT notice this at the time, but I am willing to live with my error if we can get it working. Since the error message appears with the statement "Media Jukebox" is it possible I got the media center code, but an authorization for media jukebox (or vice versa??)

I would be happy if you can get me media center working, OR if you can get me media jukebox working and refund $10. Either way. Remember, all I needed was a way to generate MP3 files.

You can purchase again if you like, but please download a current version first.

PS Jim, if you're still monitoring this thread. Don't know if you are seeing it, but everytime I've posted I've gotten a runtime error (though, obviously, the posts have gone through ok.)

That error (see last post) is an IE error (I'm running ver 6.0.2800)

I was getting that same error whenever I tried to post. Like you said, the error message would pop up, but the post would go fine. This was only happening on my home PC. My work PC (same OS, same version of IE) was fine.

Then, just as suddenly as it started, the problem went away. No idea what caused it. Maybe some Windows update or something?
