I have combined my home cinema (Marantz processor) with my hi-fi with AV bypass (Naim amps with Unity Gain). I am presently using Id through the Marantz processor which shows up on my 75" Samsung screen. I have been trying to keep the screen images (via the HDMI out from the Id to the processor) but want to use the Ids USB out to play the audio directly through the hi-fi side which is better quality for music, bypassing the processor. I haven't been able to so far. Can anyone offer advice on how to send pictures to the screen via HDMI and music to the hi-fi via USB at the same time. Not sure if I can use HDMI and USB at the same time.

You should be able to just select the USB audio device in your Id's Tools->Options->Audio.
You might have to tailor DSP studio to whatever limitations your USB device has on sample rate, channels, etc.
