Delay in AudioPath

Delay in AudioPath: Is this only for information purpose or does it show something about my system?

e.g.0,09 s from converter,  4700 ms from input until heard. (File is DXD 352,8 kHz 24 bit over ADI-2 DAC FS).

Is "ms" (milliseconds) in error for "μs" (microseconds)? In MC29 I'm seeing delay reported at around "7000 ms from input until heard" which is 7 seconds! I can click any track and hear its music in well under a second. Surely the numbers are microseconds.

The units are correct, but its not as simple as that, because when you play a file the buffer can be filled faster then realtime, so you don't have to wait 7 seconds for it to fill.
The first number represents actual processing latency, the second includes device buffers and whatnot, which is only important if you try to optimize for live playback with WDM or other live sources were we can't pre-read to fill big buffers.
