I'd like to see a change to the way the volume slider works and the way that volume is adjusted using JRemote2 etc. when controlling MC.
The Volume Protection feature works OK, but I don't like having to constantly drag at the slider to see the volume increase slowly.
With Volume Protection turned off, you can get a sudden jump in gain if you press a part of the slider far away from its initial position. This is something that can't happen with regular volume pots as you have to turn a knob which takes time.
I think it would be a great option to have a setting (say "Smooth volume adjust") where if you pressed any point on the slider, then the volume "faded" up or down to the new level over say a second or two and the slider moved with the fade without user assistance to the new set point.
On small phones the JRemote2 slider can be small compared to a finger tip and over-shoot with rapid gain changes happens often.
