Win 11 Convolution Not Valid
« on: March 02, 2023, 09:47:14 pm »

I just built a new PC with Win 11, and I can't get convolution working.

On my old PC, both in MC26 and MC30, convolution is working to 2 different external ASIO devices.  On the convolution tab I see the processing time info, and on the analyzer I see data for 9 channels.

On the new Win 11 PC, tried both MC 26 and MC30 to both devices, and I have only gotten 2 channel stereo output, and the convolution status says "Not valid".

Does anyone know what I'm missing?

I'm using 32 bit version of MC26 MC30, have output format set to 12 channel output, using the same filter files.  Stereo gets through, but the convolution filter processing is not working.
thanks

Hi,

I have no experience using Convolution but since Win 11 doesn't have a 32 bit version, I'm thinking that it might be better to move to the X64 version of MC30 so that you'll make better use of memory etc.

Can you play to that audio device with the same output format with convolution disabled? Can you show a pic of the convolver screen?
