One of my client has persistently missing thumbnails which occurs sporadically

some pics to illustrate are attached

server shows the view on the server
client shows the same view on this client
client_hover shows the view on the client when you hover to illustrate that the relevant cover art is visible to it

rebuild thumbnails doesn't fix it

How do I fix this?

note that if I go to a different view that contains the same library item, it does show the correct thumbnail

a similar sort of problem occurs as it flickers between no thumbnail and a thumbail, sometimes this happens spontaneously but other times just when scrolling

look at butch cassidy at about the 2s mark in the attached vid

behaviour is specific to this client and to certain library items

points that might be worth noting about this client

* it runs windows and has access to the same paths as the server
* it used to be the server (before I moved the server to another machine) which means it has file locations (for cover art etc) that are literally the same as the server (though idk whether a client gets such info from the server or needs to read/rebuild itself though)

Try this on the client:
-shut down MC
-delete everything in "C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\J River\Media Center 30\Thumbnails" directory
-start MC
