With using my WiiM streamer, I occasionally need to stop & restart the media server, as opposed to restarting the server’s computer? Can that capability be added to JRemote and JRemote2?
As an aside, my JR server is configured to start automatically with the computer (Windows 10 Pro 64bit), and this always works, even without logging in. However, there must be something different about JRemote’s restart because it will instead wait for me to log in. Otherwise, I wouldn’t be asking for the capability for a simple server reset.
Envision me in underwear running down the stairs just to log in. I have no idea why the WiiM screws the connection up, but the result is usually gaps throughout the track, and is generally coincident with a WiiM automatic update.
