Format conversion to flash players
« on: February 21, 2003, 08:34:14 am »

I was wondering if MC9 has or will have the capability to change to a lower format when transferring to a flash player.  I have all my music in VBR high quality but would like to put it into 64bit on my flash player to save space.  Musicmatch has a setting where you can set the rate and it re-samples it on the fly.  Your original database of songs stay intact but your flash player has a more space friendly format.

I see the converter in my MC9 but how do I point to the RIO player.  Am I missing something here?  It looks like my only option is to convert and send the files to a new folder that I specify.  Do I do that or is the RIO suppose to show up as a local drive?  I am just not sure what to do but I figured the player was capable of this.  Thanks for your help.

All you need to do Is select the files.

Right Click

Send To: Your Portable Device (Or you can just drag the files to the device, that should be in the tree to the left.)

Click On Your Portable Device In The Tree.

All that You Sent To The Que and that is already on the device is There.

on that page there is an options button you can set the convert format.

when all set use the "Upload Files" button.
