Changed my music drive configuration. Belatedly set "fix broken links" away from the "preserve" default to "yes" (to remove the broken links). Now there are many broken links in my library. Do I need clean those out, or will auto-import eventually clean them out for me? If I need to clean them out, how?

Similarly, playlists now have many broken links. (I must have 1,000 playlists.)
The playlists can be text edited to wholesale correct the broken links.
There is an option to export all playlists, but no corresponding option to import all playlists.
How to efficiently update playlists to correct for the broken links?

Found the solution for broken links. Run /File/Library/Import... with fix broken links (no preserve) set (to "yes").

My question remains about updating playlists wholesale.
