Line input. Using JRiver as a preamp/DSP
« on: September 22, 2023, 03:18:26 am »

I'm trying to use JRiver as a complete playback solution with DSP filters.

I've figured out how to use the DSP filters. So far. It's great.

But, To make this work 100% for me. I need to have an analog input. I have a E1DA Cosmos I'm hoping to use for a phono input into JRiver. I need to use JRiver as a 3 way active crossover. So, I need JRiver to switch sources and control volume.

Any help would be much appreciated!

It doesn't appear to have an asio driver so you can't use asio line in, you may be able to use https://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=70242.0 otherwise you would need to use something like https://vb-audio.com/Cable/ to route the input through MC

This should give you something to search for in terms of other threads of people doing similar things
