The Windows Defender false positive was addressed a few days ago, you should check for Defender definition updates in Windows Update. The "Run anyway" dialog is actually Windows SmartScreen, and that happens with a lot of apps, especially ones with recent updates. It can take a little bit until MS begins to trust it and the prompt goes away.

Update Defender's definitions.  Make sure it's configured correctly.

So I have put all the exclusions into defender and my player has worked well for 30 days and hasn't crashed until yesterday when I had to restore my library 3 times. Was an update made to Defender recently that has added more trouble?

No, there hasn't been any issues with Defender, especially after you already added exclusions.

You should probably create a new topic describing your issue is more detail, because I don't believe Defender would do that if you already did the exclusions.
