I have always had difficulty starting old DVDs. I insert the DVD, the menu appears and then everything is difficult but, by dint of insisting, in the end I manage.
Now, however, I just can't start a DVD on which old Super 8 films have been transferred. The menu appears, the bar moves, a sign that the video has started, but you can't see anything, only the menu. I tried to rip it to the hard disk, but the problem remains.
I tried to click on the single .vob file, but the error message "failed to open or parse file" appears.
I also tried with another player Dvbviewer Pro, and the files open regularly.
Is it possible that I can easily watch a UHD 4k and not a simple DVD? :'(
