Using an external audio track possible?
« on: December 01, 2024, 04:18:09 am »

Hello everyone,
Is it possible to use an external audio track when playing a UHD disc or Bluray disc? I have a lot of self-created ATMOS soundtracks that are not available on disc and would like to simply play them back to the film without ripping and re-muxing the film. Only put the disc in and select the self created audio file and use this as my audio track. Is that possible?

No reply? Any chance to see this function in the next Release?

It's not possible to do in MC, but to properly accomplish this you'd have to create a remux of your BD/UHD video by using an app like MKVToolNix to add a audio track with an existing video file and save it as a MKV.
