Yesterday, I installed MC 9.0.88 both at work (Win XP Pro SP1, Intel P4 1.6, WMP XP) and at home (Win XP Pro SP1, AMD 2200+, WMP 9.0). Neither will play a single AVI or MPG file. I get a "cannot determine version..." error. I also get the same error when trying to listen to 90% of the radio stations.

WMP plays fine on both machines as does Real One.

Any ideas? I really like the idea of one program doing it all and will buy it if it truly works as advertised...
