« on: November 25, 2002, 12:44:00 pm »

I went to dl the LAME external encoder plugin but it still says it's for v8 ... will that one work on v9, too?

It's better to use the lame.exe version.  It's faster and more up-to-date.

Where to get lame.exe and how to install?  I don't see it on the LAME site.  I guess if lame.exe is used then you have to specify parameters? Can somebody help me with those (both in and out)?

In version 9, just pick "MP3 Encoder" or "MP3 Encoder VBR" and it'll use LAME.exe

(p.s. did you see my reply about MusicMatch fields in the bug thread -- hoping that does the trick)
