Can't rip CD
« on: November 19, 2002, 03:24:58 am »

Ripping CD worked in MJ8, but MJ9 displays message "Open drive failed. Parameter is out of range." I have standard CD-ROM drive. Digital playback is OK.

Try unchecking "use internal aspi" and restarting MJ. Let us know if that helps.

Tim,
It's under Settings/options/CD Writer settings.

Thanks Jim, but I'm ripping tho', not writing?

When I look there the "Use Internal ASPI" is greyed out for my CD Writing drive.  No settings for non-writer.
