Feature Request - Search Clear / Refresh
« on: October 09, 2002, 03:06:38 am »

I know this is still a work in progress, but it would be great if the search had a clear button that cleared the search with one click. Also nice would be a refresh button that would essentially re-run the search. I think this would help a lot with random lists and would be very helpful when updating tags to see your progress.

Buttons would be preferable to hiding in a pull-down since at least for me, I'd probably use these features 50 or more times per week.

Also, I'm not sure what workflow it works well with, but entering a search seems to start playing the first track. This might be useful somewhere, but when you are listening to music and adding album covers or otherwise editing tracks, when you re-do a search or do another one, what you are listening to is replaced by the top returned search result.

There already is a Refresh button. It's available on the toolbar. If it's not there, right click on the toolbar, choose Customize, and then you can add the Refresh button.

F5 works too if you're a keyboard guy...
