I rip cd using MJ as well as WMP 9 is there a way to pull the folder.jpg that WMP makes and put it in the cover art dir and then vice versa if there is not a folder.jpg in the music folder and MJ as one place it there.

This might be a nice idea.

Allow us to specify a naming format for all the covers and where to save them. Either in the same folder or in the cover art dir.

Might be nice, imagine it'd be pretty easy :)

Especially for a genious like you :)

In the music folder artist/album it is hidden but you can have it show up.  I gues what I am asking for is to syck the cover art folder with the music folders.

You can do it easily then.

1)  Select all your albums.
2)  Right click and choose Tools / Extract/Copy Artwork
3)  Specify the destination filename format, e.g.:

C:\CoverArt\<Artist> - <Album>.jpg

Replacing "C:\CoverArt\" with the MJ artwork folder.

4)  Click start.

Since "Overwrite Existing Files" is unchecked by default you won't have any worries about overwriting any existing files.

Note this also assumes that you have something like <Artist>\<Album>\Folder.jpg as the first directory rule when you created your AV database.

The reason I created the Extract/Copy artwork feature was to do something similar.   I originally had all my artwork in the MJ artwork folder but I wanted to copy it to <Artist>\<Album>\Folder.jpg so Windows XP could see it to.
