Track Splitting

Following the path options->settings->recorder I'm looking for the check box to enable/disable track splitting but don't see anything like this.  Can someone tell me where to access this feature?  Thanks.

Theres A "Option" Button Click on it

Thanks for replying, however, I still haven't found this feature.  I've clicked on options, then selected recorder and then selected settings.  I've also clicked on options, then settings and then recorder which takes me to the same screen.  Where do I find the track splitting check box?
