Recently MJ will not stay open.  After about 30 seconds it just closes.  It's weird becuase this just started happening one day and I hadn't made any changes to my computer.  Just downloaded and installed the newest version and the same problem persists.

No other programs do this.

Please help.

This can happen if a crack was installed for the program. If this is the case... reformatting your hard drive is the only option I know of.

If that's not it, something you can try is to copy your system info from the Help menu in MC during the 30 seconds that it is open, and paste them in here.

Also, you could try and completely uninstall MC (including the program folder and registry entries), and then reinstall a fresh build. Be sure to back up your library, and make a copy of the Data folder in MC (if you have cover art for your music). If reinstalling works, then you can import the library and replace the cover art.

Did you try uninstalling and reinstalling (use the newest build... found in the top thread of the forum)?

Yes, tried the uninstall and reinstall... including removing all the registry entries.  It still closes after a short period of time with the exception that I'm now getting an error message stating that the program has generated errors and will be closed by windows.
