File sorting problem
« on: October 28, 2003, 02:46:26 pm »

I seem to have found a bug in the file-sorting...  I am trying to re-sort some phots which someone sent me on CD, by the 'Date' field.  To do this, I am sorting by 'Date', then adding 'track numbers' to the sorted view, and renaming the files.

The problem comes when I sort by 'Date'.  The files are just about in the right order, but a few of them are the wrong way round e.g.

27/11 09:15
27/11 09:16
27/11 09:15
27/11 09:17
27/11 09:18

Has anyone else experienced this?  Is there a fix planned?

Many thanks!

Mark.

Sorry to bump, but anyone got any ideas?  It's really bugging me, and seems like a definite bug!

Cheers,

Mark

Is it wrong in the same way everytime, or is it random? (when hitting F5)

Thanks!

Always the same.  I tried on another directory of jpg files, and exactly the same happens there too.

Matt,

Have you had the chance to investigate?  I am running out of my 30 day trial, and definitely want to buy if the sorting can be fixed!

Cheers,

Mark.
