Some converted files have XXXXXX as ext.
« on: November 14, 2003, 02:44:58 am »

I converted about 340 files from wma to mp3 so I could make an mp3 data CD for playing in my CD Changer.

When I checked the folder where the converted files are; about 30% have these duplicates zero-byte files. They have the same name except they end in XXXXXXXX.

What's up? ?

it happens in MC9.1 from time to time also

it is a temp file and i think it has something to do with write problems to the drive for more than one reason.
