Brushed Metal - track info visualization - screen saver
« on: November 28, 2003, 05:43:23 pm »

I love the brushed metal interface and made my own visualization (graphics ripped from prior brushed metal skins).

I am a novice, extremely novice html programmer.

I wanted a track info visualization that was mostly black and was moving (to prevent burn in) that displayed all the track info.   So here's my first attempt at making it.  It uses a simple table with a brushed metal background and is marqueed to make it move.

Looks nice (I don't know how to post a screen shot, so if someone knows how and wouldn't mind posting a screen shot, that'd be nice.

Enjoy!  and if anyone would like to improve on this, feel free and post it back up here.

EDIT:  Just realized I don't know how to post the file, any ideas on how to post it?

Thanks Fex for posting the files.

So the track information scrolls slowly horizontally back and forth.

The visualization box needs to be resized to whatever screen size you are using.  Just edit the html code for it (there is a width and a heigth adjustment).

My TV is a Philips Matchline TV which is also accepts 640x480 VGA input, so I had to make the vizualization smaller to accomodate the smaller screensize.

The screenshot I quickly made from my desktop (so, it's not really centered on the screen, but easily can be.)

Hope you all like it.
