Generic .CDA filename on burn...
« on: December 10, 2002, 08:18:03 pm »

Is there a setting I'm missing to burn the name (song name, not file name) for each track on an Audio CD?

CD-TEXT is what you're looking for I think.  How you set it depends on which version you're running and you're CD burner needs to be capable of writing it.   In Version 8, it's turned on automatically if "use generic driver" is unchecked in the CD burner options.  In version 9, there's a specific option to enable CD-TEXT.

2 Things:  CD-TEXT has nothing to do with the cda files.  Those files are just pointers to the actual audio.

Not all audio CD players are capable of reading CD-TEXT.
