License missing
« on: December 16, 2003, 11:06:07 am »

What happened?  I just launched Media Center 9.1 and got the usual upgrade notification, which I accepted.  After installing, when I launch Media Center 9.1.316, I am told that my "30-day trial period has expired", but I have a licensed copy.  I did not try to restore my license online because I don't want to use up one of my restores, since I didn't really lose my license or do an uninstall?  Is there any way I can get this licensed without using up one of my restores?

I'm afraid not.  Just use a restore.  You've got 10 each year and you can extend this by using the 30 day trial period.

OK, I will.  Any idea why I "lost" my license?

Did the date on your computer change?  Or the system name?
