Freezing and rip questions
« on: January 08, 2004, 09:03:00 am »

JimH

I was offline for a few days but you asked me to start a new thread with my details because of the thread "System Freezing When Ripping..."

I personally think that the name of the thread is wrong. It is more related to YADB then the actual rip proces. The lookup process fails often and is slow. Adding always works and is fast!

With rip I have had 2 situations that I cannot explain:
1. Some tracks can't be ripped by MC and i get the message that it failed to extract.
2. Sometimes MC has to re-read more then 16 times but then, apperently, over a certain amount of retry's it fails.
3. Third situation it retry's until it just get's the information and the rip speed goes back to 0.1X but it works in the end.
What causes the three situations?
