Two questions about the use of the zone-functionality:

1. The zone which was created first is the default at start-up. Can I change that?

2. After opening another library, I found the same zones to be active. For my feeling not logical. Or is it?

Yes. Tools/Options/Playback

or

right-click on the DSP Studio button (the third button at the right end of the track progress bar), then choose Playback Zone/Zone Manager. Here you can set up as many different zones, each with their own parameters.

I understand what you are saying but you misinterpreted my question.
The problem I have is that each time MC starts it open one particular zone. I would like to change it into another zone?

Or in a different way: can I set the default zone MC starts up with?

No, you can't choose which zone is loaded at startup. The first zone that is listed in the zone manager is always the default at startup. Just change the parameters of that zone to what you want to be the default playback settings.

Some time ago (MC9 or MC9.1) the startup zone was the one that came first alphabetically. So try to rename the zones appropriately. It may help, it may not help any longer.

I'm pretty sure zones appear in the zone manager in the order they're created and the first zone in the list is the default.

What about the fact that the zones are not per library?

Is that normal?

I would expect to set zones per library   ?

I only use one library, so the zone manager works quite well for me.
