Using Girder to change full screen visualisations
« on: January 15, 2004, 07:32:28 am »

Can it be done?

My HTPC is shaping up very nicely now and with a few recent improvements to HS things are on the up.  One of the main reasons that I put down the remote and reach for the mouse is to change visualisations.

Has anyone managed to achieve this with Girder?  I don't just want to cycle them - I want to select a specific one.

Hmmm...

Just to confirm what you both know, this is a hard problem.

I've had my install of MC9 able to cycle among the different visualizations for a while. MC10 seems to have broken something in the targeting because that doesn't work any more for me.

However, I've never reliably gotten the selection of a particular viz to work. Maybe I'll add this to the "todo" list as well :)

Best,
Brad

Thanks for saving me a lot of time Brad.  If YOU can't do it I'm not even gonna try!
