ltrim/rtrim should be done on tagging input
« on: January 17, 2004, 12:26:51 pm »

Sometimes I mess up and leave an empty space at the beginning of a tag, and then of course it does not sort properly....

It would be great if Media Center would do at least an ltrim (and an rtrim too) to all tag info before writing it to the db and file.

I make lots of mistakes in life, I love it when computers fix them for me.

you can do this now by selecting all your files and using the Clean option and turning on the trim option.

Yes, but then I have to think to do it.  Automatically would be great.

Unless... anyone can think of ANY reason they'd want a leading space or tab (whitespace) at the start of any tag info.
