I'm looking for a replacement for JetAudio that allows scheduling of streaming-audio recording.  Having looked through the forums & user's guides a bit (and trying  MediaJukebox), I can't solve the following problems:

* Recording a stream doesn't seem to work.  I do "File/Open Streaming Audio", then "Tools/Record Sound".  No luck with either the "Line In" or "Mixer" selected.  The left/right "LED" indicators are dead when recording.  I've had no trouble recording with JetAudio or WinAmp, so I don't think it's my PC (Dell w/Windows 2000).

* There does not seem to be any control over the amount of buffering and time-out for streaming audio.  I get disconnected!  WinAmp does that too (bad WinAmp), but JetAudio does not.

I sure hope the above is "user error" (me)! I've been looking for something to handle scheduling/recording of streaming audio for sometime, but I fear my quest must continue...

You would have more success using Media Center V9.1 or 10 for this or look into...
