Cover art and Media Server
« on: February 23, 2004, 12:54:46 pm »

What is the best way to handle images of cover art for media server? Saving the image in the file or to an external file? It seems like images are redrawn each time I scroll or otherwise switch to my media server library. Is there a setting I'm not setting?
Thanks!

I save the images in the file, which results in them showing up over Media Server everywhere EXCEPT in the "Track Info" mode of the "Playing Now" window.  For whatever reason, this window is not able to show cover art -- you get a little "broken link" icon instead when viewing "track info."  This issue exists on more than one system for me.

I store them in the file but on a client to Media Server I only get cover art when viewing image properties or within a 3D visualization.  Track Info and the standard viz's don't show the cover art.   I can repro on two different clients..
