I have some Quicktime movies (*.mov) that are showing up under the Audio view instead of under the Video view.

Try deleting and re-importing.  Or try editing the properties.

Video files with filetype shown in MC10 as MOV also appear in the audio section for me.
This radio station shows as a video and gets a MC filetype of WMV
http://stream.megaquebec.net/choi.asx
but won't play except in WMP where it is 20kbps audio.

Try deleting and re-importing.  Or try editing the properties.

I deleted and re-imported the file...no change.  What properties would I need to change for the file to show up properly as a video?

Just change 'Media Type' to 'Video' in File Properties and it will work.

I also have this same problem with all my .movs

I found the Media Type property....that did the trick!  Thanks for the help.

Just want to add, it's not just happening to .movs. It also happens to .mpegs that don't have a .. .. aspect ratio? The one's when you resize the display window, the video stays at a fixed size. IE: doesn't fill the screen....SVCD?. I don't know what to call them.

I have a few and they were in the 'Audio' section.

Also note, there's no 'thumbnail option' when paused for Quick Time videos.

Same here. I import a lot of .mov QuickTime videos and this makes it a pain to change the displayed thumbnail.
