"Startup Mode: Last Exit View" Not Working
« on: February 29, 2004, 08:04:17 pm »

MC10 had a nervous breakdown a few weeks ago and then I went on vacation.

When I got back I completely uninstalled and reinstalled MC10 (v.79 I think).  Since then (I now have .80) it doesn't remember my last exit view.

Any ideas?

Tim,
I think that's an option, not a default.

I'm away from my desktop machine.

How do I set audio filters?  (its a feature I never use but might have been set on on my uninstall and reinstall)

On the right side up in the corner (beyond the search field) you shold have four icons. Choose the note. Then you should have the audio filter.

Thanks Fex. :)

However this hasn't resolved the problem.  I'm still Starting up at the MC10 webpage. :( :(

Actually I'm finding that MC10 isn't saving my filter setting either.  I set it to Audio, quit and then when I reopen and renavigate to the view I last used ("Last Exit View" ) its set to All Media again.

This information is stored in the registry so it sounds like MC is unable to write to it.  Are you running as a power user / computer administrator?

This one's the same for all of us. It is "by design" and not a bug.

If it was a registry problem, then none of your options choices would change from their defaults. Are you seeing that kind of problem?

What mode are you exiting from, and what mode are you restarting in as a result of MC's current bout of amnesia?

Either Playing Now or Media Library, full screen mode.
