Command line for changing Zones
« on: April 11, 2004, 11:42:27 pm »

Hi all,

Mainly I am confirming what I fear...is there still a command line call for changing zones: mjextman /command setzone 2 (for example) I am using 9.1.  I was looking at a post by Mastiff and looking back at a couple Girder files that had this command in them.

Anyway if you could let me know...I have seen on the mjextman page that there are some new ways to send a playlist to a certain zone via the command line for ver 10, I am just looking at being able to set the zone for my config in myHTPC (One selection for Master Bedroom and one for Home Theater).  Here is the post that I was looking at...the reference to the "setzone" is on page 3 reply number 115. http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?board=5;action=display;threadid=17931;start=100

Thanks for any info

Set zone should work in MC 9.1 and MC 10.

Version 10 adds a way to send playlists / files to a certain zone without first switching zones.

Thanks Matt,

I was trying to have the command work with setzone master bedroom or home theater.  It didn't like the spaces I assume.  Once I remembered that the zones were zero based it started to work....zone 0=master bedroom and zone 1=home theater.

Thanks for the quick reply.
