I purchased MJ a while ago and it is great. I am now getting an IPOD so I wanted to check out MC. So I downloded to a seperate directory so if I did not like it I could uninstall and continue with MJ. Upon installing MC it asked if I wanted to uninstall a previous version - presumably MJ- so I declined. It then removed my desktop Icon for MJ and I also had to convert my libraries to try it out! I have now purchased MC (upgrade) and it is working sooo nice. - How do I get rid of the MJ files now as there is no uninstall available for it in Add/Remove nor in the MJ folder itself? Can I just delete the files? but then what about any registry entries?

Backup the data directory inside the program files/jriver/mj directory somewhere else.

Make sure you know where the data is stored for your current install and back it up also.

Then delete the MJ directory.

Did that and MC is still running - will leave a few days b4 deleting backups.

btw when viewing pictures is there any way of preventing sub folder contents  being shown?
