Auto-tagging possible?
« on: May 14, 2004, 07:38:38 pm »

Hey all,

Is it possible to have MC automatically apply a user-created tag to files when they are ripped?  I have a field called "iPod" that I created. I put a value of "Yes" in the field for all files that are going on my iPod, and then I sync the iPod using that list. I'd like to have all files default to the "Yes" value in the iPod field as I rip them. Is this possible?  I don't know if this is a completely insane request, but I checked the options and I didn't see it, so I thought I'd ask.

I suppose if it's not possible, you can count this as a humble feature request  :)

Thanks,

crow

I like the idea.

Me too. EAC allows this.

I find it useful to differentiate files I've ripped from ones I've downloaded.
