There is something very simply that I am missing. I have been trying to use the analyze feature for everything.

But when I go to burn something, to make sure the analyze amount will stay, I go to the DSP settings, then click on Reply Gain.

In reply Gain, there are three settings, and I am not sure if I should select none, fixed or automatic based on current playlist.

Please let me know so that the analyze feature works.

It also looks like if I analyze while audio is in .wav format, then concert to .APE format,  MC tells me that the file is still done anazlyzing. Is this true, that the analyze amount gets carried over ?

Please help me on the dumb question, I have been through the help and can't seem to find it.

Version 10 is great.

I am using 10.0.134 now.

During burning, you'll want "Automatic (based on current playlist)"

Check the help file for "Replay Gain Adjustment" for lots more info.

And it's normal that the WAV replay gain will get transfered to the APE file.

Matt,  I was curious, do you ever sleep, or have you "cloned" yourself.

The product keeps getting better and more intuitive. I do want to tell you that I had lots of problems with my PC freezing back in version 8/9 and know it is way more stable.

I will mostly use it for audio, some TV, but nothing is made to sound "just the way you like it", with all the options at hand and how your settings can themselves with the song, album or entire audio collection.  Great stuff.
