The behavior of
~nodup=[Album],[Name],[Track #]
Seems to have changed. For years I have used it to see what files I had ripped in ape that I had not also created a MP3 or AAC file for. Normal for me was for this smartlist to only return a few files. Now it seems to match everything no matter if there is one or two files with the same names etc...

Was this intentional and if so is there a way to get the old behavior?

It changed between v9 and v10.

This thread has some details on the ~limit keyword that may help.

Perhaps you could use ~dup, and then build a smartlist around it to return files not in that smartlist.

Better yet, can someone help me figure out a search that does what
~nodup did in V9?

Also can someone describe the difference in behavior between V9 and V10.
I am having trouble understanding what the new V10 behavior is for ~nodup.

MC 10.0.64 (2/6/04)
Changed: No duplicates (~nodup) smartlist modifier shows one of a file with duplicates instead of none of the files.

Thanks Matt. Has anyone figured out a rule to match the V9 ~nodup behavior.
I have tried, but am having troubles figuring it out. I know it can not be too hard,
but my tries have failed.
