3 d visualization
« on: May 26, 2004, 05:00:06 am »

I cant get the 3D to work...........works on my laptop, which has ATI video card.
Desktop has SIS card, which I think supports 3D, but message I get when I try to load says, "Error starting 3D visualization" (hardware not capable of windowed mode)

Thanks in advance for any help,

Lou

Try these:

Updating the video driver.

Updating Windows.  IE/Tools/Windows update.  Look especially at DirectX.

:-[ well in my case i am SP'ed to the hilt, and i have the latest vid driver (although i haven't checked to see if there are any beta drivers) and the latest version of directx so do think it's that... anyway how would that explain that 3d vis worked in an earlier version  ?

I'm just trying to understand the facts.  I don't know what the solution to this problem is.
