We're just starting work on Media Center 11.  From time to time, we'll share our progress.

Think of these early builds like the hole in the ground before you start building a house.  Much like the hole, it's hard to get excited about these builds, and if you're not careful with them, you'll get hurt.

When upgrading from MC 10, you will lose your settings.  Some plugins will not work yet.

Please uninstall builds prior to MC 11.0.12 before installing. (no need to uninstall 11.0.12)  As always, backup your library.

1. Fixed: Media Server would not read the database.
2. Changed: Reordered "Add Folder" menu in Import to make "Browse..." quicker to get to.
3. Changed: MC no longer uses the ID3v1 album for the band field when the ID3v2 tag doesn't contain a band.

Media Server appears to be working just fine now...thanks very muchly...

Slight quirk though, when Media Server starts up, it immediately wants to download/install the LAME MP3 encoder...

I also noticed that the library size seems to have almost doubled in V11. Is that to be expected (I HAVE added a few new tracks, but not doubled the collection size...)

Not really sure who's issue this is...


When using the Playing now plugin, everything works fine except the Pop ups can not read the cover art...

As it was working fin in build 12 I was thinking that this was a MC issue.

The cover art for individual tracks seems to be missing in Theater View.  They are shown for the album, but when I drill down into individual tracks or look at Now Playing they are not shown.  The correct image file is still present in the tags and I have tried to erase and rebuild all the thumbnails with no success.
