KingSparta has a plug-in called EQ Master that will do this. www.spartasoft.com

As far as I know... MC can't do this on its own... yet.

Thanks for the help, but it doesn't look like this works with MC11.  Everytime it tries to start I get a MC skinned window telling me it's trying to install Nero!

Ian G.

that has nothing to do with my plug-in, it does not try to install anything.

you may want to clear out your temp dir.

Both plugins tried to install Nero when they started, so I decided to go ahead and let them have their own way.  It hasn't happened again! EQ Master now works fine, so long as there are no spaces in the preset name. AutoEqualiser works too, but only with the predefined presets.

that was because there was something left over from a nero install.

it happens, but it has nothing to do with the two programs, it is more of your system and a problem with it (like a botched install of nero that left over install files)

I can believe that - Nero's always been flakey on this PC!  Strange that it's only MC plugins that do this, though!  BTW, it looks like Nero's OK now - two fixes for the price of one ;D

It turns out there was a common problem with the two plugins - my stupidity  :(  I wasn't configuring them properly!  Both work perfectly!
